Go for I.H. Qureshi and any other book which covers post partition period. Highest marks depends on your way of attempting paper. Attempting to the point answer as required, quotations, a good introduction and conclusion, headings. The most important point is relevancy, highlight the quotations and headings. If you paper is outstanding and change from the other candidates in term of quality, it will fetch you good marks.

Hmm thanks but I ditched I H Qureshi in favor of KK Aziz. I didn't quite like I H Qureshi to be honest. Yep you are quite right in saying that marks depend upon the writing style, content and quotations etc but my problem, as I am sure you would know, is/was that Ikram Rabbani/OA Academy notes are pathetic when it comes to comprehensive preparation when the aim is to top the examinations, therefore I needed a book which was comprehensive.

So far so good. Hoping for the best
