Default The contribution of Aligarh movement in generating muslim consciousness

Aligarh movement was a genuine and valuable service rendered by sir syed Ahmed Khan and his colleague for the renaissance of the Muslim of subcontinent, which not only generated the Muslim consciousness but also built the momentum for the creation of Pakistan.

Establishment of School.
The first practical implementation of Aligarh movement was the establishment of a School at muradabad in 1859. In this school Persian and English were taught.

School at Ghazipur.
In 1863 , Sirsyed Ahmed Khan established another school in Muradabad. The objective of these school was to educate the Muslim of subcontinent in a modern way.

The Sirsyed Ahmed khan was of the opinion that Muslim should not take part in the politics of Sub continent untill they adorn themselves in modern education.

The Establishment Of Aligarh College:
In may 1874, Sirsyed Ahmed Khan started a Muhammadan Angle high school at Aligarh.The western and east education was given in this school.The Muslim from wid and breadth of Hindustan started taking admission in this school and got modern knowledge.The school changed the lives of Muslim.

Muhammadan Oriental College:

In 1877, MAO school was given the status of college owing to its extraordinary performance.It was the great success of the part of Sirsyed Ahmed Khan who was doing his best to raise the Muslim consciousness. Aligarh college did very well for the betterment of Muslim who got education in this college and became aware their political , economical and education right which they has been deprived since 1857.The college entirely changed the live of Muslim. The Britisher who were considering Muslim as their worst enemies , started rethinking about their rights. On the other hand, Muslim were also came close to the Britisher and brought them home about their political , economic and educational right.

In this context the process of reconciliation was accomplished between the two rival of 1857 war. In 1921 Aligarh college was made the aligarh Muslim University which later on organized the Muslim and generated their consciousness in a befitting manner
