farhan1111 is on a distinguished road
Default Please explain these questions!

1)) The Quaid-e-Azam was against the performance of “a surgical operation” on the
provinces because such a step would be a dangerous proposition and would “let loose
terrible forces”. In the light of the statement, discuss the division of the Punjab and Bengal?

2) What specific steps were initiated by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan which later on became the
agenda points of the movement for Pakistan? How did these steps orient the Political system
in Pakistan?

3) Impact of Aligarh movement on political system of pakistan?

Some general pointers for this question are

1. Sir Syed, after 1857 war greatly perturbed at the state of Muslims and wanted to eradicate poverty, illiteracy and ignorance from their ranks. So he started various magazines and Newspapers (Tahzeeb-ul-Ikhlaq, Scientific Society etc)

2. Generally, before the Banaras language riots (Hindi vs Urdu Language riots), he worked for both Muslims and Hindus but after this event, he worked specifically for Muslims masses [Here mention his encounter with Shakespeare, the British official posted there]

3. Founding of Aligarh which produced Muslim leaders of the freedom movement

4. Refrained Muslims from participating in politics and joining congress.

Write, with facts, on these points and then justify that movement of Pakistan was based on these very points. Here mention how Muslim League reoriented and reinvigorated itself after 1937 etc etc. You can add other stuff which you think is relevant.

May be other members can answer you better

Cant comment on first and third question
