Default Pak Affair study plan...

AOA Seniors!

Please guide me when to prepare for Pak Affairs? I mean in the beginning or in the middle or end of preparation time? as i have started prep for 2013 and started with Pak affairs but now after one week i am loosing interest in this subject. I have almost covered pre partition phase. but due to lengthy syllabus i wish to continue my prep of this subject after covering 1 or 2 other subjects. What you say?

W.salam !As you have said that you have already prepared pre-partition part so you need not to worry.Pak affair includes current affair portion too so you should read articles and watch talk shows regularly. It will cover your 2/3 questions at least. So it would be better if you prepare other subjects from now on.

Keep reading, listening, watching and discussing issues, surely you will be safe.October-November will be the right time for Pak Affair+Current Affair.

All the best !

If you ve had prepare pre-partition portion, definitely you ll be able to attempt atleas two questions..As farha has mentioned that CA prepration overlaps pak affairs so that would be helpful as well in this regard...but it's good to prepare CA & pak affairs at the end like in nov or dec..

Well,I believe watching and listening is more beneficial in improving English. You should search spoken English videos on Youtube.Besides, watch some good English movies.

For reading,Dawn is an appropriate choice.Readers digest is also fine.

I didn't read that book so I'm unable to comment.Yeah,it's better to read history in Urdu first for better understanding. You should arrange some discussion sessions with your friends to develop ability of critical analysis.

I did not consult that book... Ikram Rabani book is excellent for Pak affairs as it ll help out you for CA as well because that book covers many CA related topics with proper required history.
