Firstly you should have following books in hand prior to commence preparation:
Pakistan Affairs by Imtiaz shahid

Trek to Pakistan

Struggle for Pakistan by I.H Qureshi

Now download Study Plan by Redmax and update it. it'll enrich you: which kind of question you are going to prepare. Now considering the study plan start your topics from above allured books and make your notes. On the next day repeat what you had studied the previous day before furrher study. InshAllah you'll be able to prepare it proficiently. :-)

Let me illustrate:
If you are preparing the topic "Sir Sayyad Ahmad khan", study it from all above stated books. Now you would have profuse material to prepare your own notes which would be jotted down in pin point format preferably so that at the eleventh hour you can repeat your subject easily. For more information, go through the thread "all about PA.
Regards...

One should keep into the mind that books like Ikram Rabbani's Pak Affairs etc have written for the core commercial purposes. Though these contain material but not as authentic, eloquent, elegant and artistic as the books like "Struggle for Pakistan". By studying this type of material you are actually doing a favour upon yourself nourishing and fashioning your analytic capabilities and eradicating your intellectual foibles, hence broadening the firmaments of your thought.

Brothers, you will have to prepare Pak affairs till final exams. But as far as Pre partition portion and profound knowledge about Problems and various aspects of Pakistan is concerned, one should complete it within 20 to 25 days.
