Since everyone is kind of venting out here, I decided to board the wagon as well. I just wanted to know what exactly is the criteria for a top-notch essay?
I write regularly for work, and I have written multiple essays on topics related to Globalization. I am completely aware of the logos, pathos and ethos of an essay and also, have the know-how of designing a persuasive/argumentative essay, including thesis statement and topic sentences. And I still can't believe that even with all that, I only managed to get 15 marks in the essay. What sorcery is this? I have been forcing myself to believe that it was my handwriting, which would be barely legible for someone other than me, at least that's what I believe. Still, 15 marks...

No wonder three of the successful candidates that i know are from IBA Karachi which is a business school.
You are absolutely right that most of candidates who have shared their marks here would have fallen short of aggregate even if they had managed to pass all the subjects. But it is not possible for us to run after business subjects with no background in it. Besides it is not necessary that similar marking would be done next time too.
I personally want to skip next attempt because less than 50% marks means that I have to work on all 12 subjects which is not possible in next 4 months.
Aspirants are welcomed to share their opinions regarding next attempt.

I have no courage to appear again for the third in row.
This exam has taken its toll on my mental health.
I've lost my career trajectory; it's been two years since I graduated and i am left with nothing. It's such a tough time i don't wish to live

I thought I was the only one. Every year the essay topic opted by most people is targeted by examiners. For 2021 that is globalisation.

Please tell us which books you read for political science preparation.
It is too much difficult to find topics of paper 2 in books.
