I have been following this forum since long and this thread all along. My advice to 2023 aspirants is not to wait for the results and submit your application ASAP. Result will be announced any day and nobody knows when it is going to be announced. It may take a month or more , or who knows the news comes today. My best wishes to all the aspirants.

The most intense wait is usually of your second attempt. Because it's our well prepared attempt. I didn't have high hopes of my first attempt. I knew I would not pass the essay. Started preparation after a month. Result came and I failed in essay. But waiting for the result of second attempt was intense because i had a good preparation and essay went great ... Ab to adat c hogai ha 😛

Also i see k u have European history. Thora sa guide kr den k ise kese leke chalen. How much study in depth can yield a good score.matlab detail bht ziada hai jitni prhen utni kam hai. What do u suggest ? Sent from my ANE-LX2 using Tapatalk

Definitely it demands in depth study. However, it's a very rewarding and interesting subject. Paper patterns are changing so I'd recommend you to study a recommended book for it. And the best recommended book is ' Europe Since Napoleon'. Read it, you can skip around 200 pages, and you'll be fine. Please reach me on mail if you need any further information. Log kafi suspense se ye thread open krte or notifications dekhte 😂

To make this thread more productive, why don’t we share our own experiences of CSS and what our gut feelings say about ourselves…This could help us later to figure out that either CSS has something to do with the reality or it is all about luck…
There are three main types of Aspirants that are commonly observed.. 1.Those who gave their best and they are pretty hopeful(though the level of “best” is different for every individual..someone’s best could be the normal of the other one) 2. The ones who know what they have done but they are trying to be hopeful(waiting for some Qudrat ka Nizam) 3.The ones who were just checking k CSS kya hota hy… Those who are willing to share their unbiased analysis are most welcome. |

Starting with myself, this is my second and last attempt...I failed Precis in the first one..
And this time, I am just trying to be hopeful because I believe that I tried to give my best but I couldn’t… I was unable to complete some of the papers just like my previous attempt where I couldn’t complete most of the papers but still managed to score 45+ average marks.…Though I am 100% satisfied with what I have written… 1.My Essay went pretty well and I am expecting 45+. 2.Precis could be a set back If targeted( God Forbid)..I hate Precis 3.Philosophy is another nightmare for me..(waiting for Qudrat ka Nizam) 4.Other papers are just fine..except that I couldn’t fill the last few headings of the last questions in 3-4 exams…but still… Let’s see what the destiny holds… |
