Rejected Candidates of CSS-2014?
Dear all-
i have received a letter today from FPSC that i have been rejected from css 2014 exame on account of providing wrong subject combination--- Infact i have called FPSC for the correction of combination but they refused to correct it by saying that " iss bar rules sakht hai, nahi ho sakta"----- infact i have done a mistake and being a css aspirant it is very stupid error from my side but being a human mistake can happen from any person--- is this mistake so big that i have been rejected from CSS 2014 exame. It will destroy my one attempt for css-- i have studied for more than a year and still there are 2 months remaining in the exame---- Is it not possible for FPSC to cancel our rejection and allow us to sit in the exame for 2014----- plz Seniors advice us in this situation--- is there any way which we can follow to sit in the exame- |

In these cases commission asks candidate to resubmit the application after making necessary corrections in it along with a T.R worth 500 or more within stipulated time.
If candidate fails to reproduce the application in accordance with asked directions s/he will then be final rejected. you should recontact the commission and ask them about the legal possibilities to solve your case....

You may like to check from FPSC for the current rulings. However, as per Rule 8 under General, “The candidates are cautioned that wrong selection of subjects will lead to summary rejection under para 7 and no appeal will be entertained against this rejection. Change of optional subjects is not allowed. Its your fault my friend. Subject selection is very important thing and if you have selected wrong combination then FPSC is not be blamed for this. However, dont worry, it seems to be a problem to you now, but there may be some benefit in it for you. Good luck. Regards

Rejection of candidates prior to holding the examination has not been a practice of FPSC previously, it is only from this time that eligibility of candidates is determined on the basis of all factors which include but are not limited to age limits, qualification with-in date, and correct filling of application form. When in individual cases you think, you feel that there should be space for such little human errors, but at the collective level there are at-least 10% candidates who do such carelessness in filling their application forms. And thus a proper organizational approach demands that such carelessness should be punished in the form of rejection so that the candidates remain careful in future.
Dear I indeed feel sorry for you that your whole years study would go waste by not being allowed to sit in the examination, but this is what FPSC needs to do to filter out the increasing number of candidates who are non-serious generally. You may know that the number of applications received for CSS 2014 have jumped up by nearly 70% as compared to the 14000 applications last year |
