Dears! Try to digest the defeat.I have also lost and ALLAH ALMIGHTY knows better that how much i tried ,struggled and prepared But......i m failed but this does not mean that we should have doubts about the results.I assure u that there is no remedy for our loss in going to court.Even if a person has been awarded zero in a paper ,it cant be converted into 1.Going to court is good but it it is simply futile when if the purpose is to get your marks increased.

@Muhammad Imran Qureshi,

You can file an appeal wth FPSC for 'Recounting' your Marks, But One can't file Suit in Court for recount or Re-Check.

having recieved DMS from FPSC then somebody may file an appeal not in any court but wth FPSC for Recount within One Month by paying 200(For each Paper) there is no need to go to court.

regards.

Hey guyz! i have also failed against my expectation. i m waiting for my DMS not to file a petition but to figure out my weak areas. we have no time left for our next attempt. so i think, instead of wasting our time on the rechecking process which will ultimately bring no benefits for us, we should prepare ourselves for the next attempt. Allah ke hur kaam main koi na koi behtari hoti he.

My best wishes are with u guyz.

Default Folks

I guess it is because of fluctuations in the marking trends as I've been a victim of it myself; subjects that were scoring last year are least scoring this year so i guess luck has a very important role to play as far as CSS is concerned I opted for Eng-Literature and Journalism,i scored 65 in essay and 60 in English but i failed in aggregate solely because of the fact that i scored just 84 in Literature and 56 in Journalism .Having said that *sigh* being an Mphil in Literature i had a very firm grip in literary analysis and theoretical framework ,I gave oral references from the texts of assorted writers and poets; i even quoted infinitesimal times in each question the very verses and statements as well as dialogues ,analytically dissected the questions into halves and then elucidated and illustrated it with opinions,trends,age,and contemporary evidences.The whole paper was in my range and i was one of the very few who came out gleaming with confidence BUT when i saw the mark sheet i felt like splitting my HAIR urghhhhhhhhhh now i regret opting for Literature and journalism but like everyone else who can empathize with me i was being told that you can easily score 120+ and 75+ in both subjects one of my seniors actually did but that was last year...Ah guess my karma forestalled me from achieving ultimate success never the less Experience of a Lifetime Best of Luck to the lucky lot ,and the ones attempting it again nail it folks Peace out

Dear Ali I would suggest you not to go for the 2010 attempt as you have only completed 20% of your preparation. Its unwise to go for a competitive exam without preparation. However, you should allow no break in your studies. Take Care

@Omair....... Preparation Is Not An Issue my friend. the things that bugs me the most is that i don't wana give my best to sumthing and then find out after an year that i was unable to make it because of the marking TREND or Examiner's Mood........If i have written something worthy , i should be equally credited for that without any physical interference ~! this is an important period of my life so how can i risk it on the grounds of some creepy policy or trend ! i am seriously thinking the other way ! :
As it goes for the preparation , i have an extremely well planned schedule so it won't be that hard !!!
