Personally, i don't think it's a big deal because you will fill out these forms again and send documents many times if you pass, the reason why Govt. service form is usually filled is if you want age relaxation, since you haven't availed that, i don't see a problem. The effect it probably will have is you will be sacked from your current job if they ever found out you took part in CSS without NOC, not any future position in the Civil Service if you pass CSS, still i am not a lawyer, so speak to them confidentially without telling them who are, if they would let you send NOC now, say that you forgot, although the NOC will probably have a date of issuance, hmmm
You signed the form where it was written that all the data is correct according to the best of my knowledge. you r right as we cant say anything with surety so its better to contact FPSC through call.

I think you should wait for result then if they demand, send it otherwise take it easy beacause such type of documents are needed on the occasion of final selection or interview

more over ur professional NOC s are required in ur interviews....not before that...therefore no need to wory about for ur NOC or other stuff....more over FPSC properly examines the documents of all aspirants either they are qualified or not qualified....n if they find ur govt. job NOC so important, they will surely inform u...as they are doing it for otherss..therefore no need to be tense at all..

one scenario may be that u r nt govt. servent at time of written but at the time of interview u r...other option is that u r not govt servent while going for written but recruited as g. servent before interniews....

therefore such type of NOC is nt essential at the written part...but at the interview...i my self did the same after all complete verifications
Is it beneficial in any way to have been a government employee before passing css exam? Other than age relaxation of course.

Welcome...

i just mentioned in my application that m Govt. servent but did nt provide any NOC...as one of my fellow appeared in CE-2010..adopted the same procedure..he confirmed that NOC is required before ur interview after clearing Written part....
therefore these are nominal issues...basic thing is ur qualification i.e...graduation.......thats all...

Dear paxton,

Yes it is beneficial as when u would enter into CSA, u will have the same pay n allownces which u have left at ur last govt. job...but u may not have gap or any other private job experience between ur govt. job n CSS...

Bro,
You mean to say that if a person has a total pay of 40,000 as a government employee each month and then he gives css, he will continue to get 40,000 during his ctp and stp? What about after his posting? This 40,000 will be added into his pay as csp?

Brother,

he will get his first pay in CSA in continuity of his last BASIC PAY...cz all other allownces are for the particular Govt service, which one may left before joining CSA...like house rent, travel allownce etc...

@ Ali!!!But I didnt even mentioned it in my form that I m a govt employee.
So I m afraid that FPSC will cancel my candidature for hiding this.
And one more thing to ask that Your department where u r serving may have some objection.Did u get permission for appearing in CSS xam???
Is not it necessary to get permission for the competitive xam.U knw we all r very touch about CSS.

Dear Mehwish,

i assure u one thing that u must not worried abt this minor prob....
FPSC will ask u to provide NOC from ur concern deptt...at the time of interview...

more over if u r so concious u may adopt a perspective that when u have taken CSS-2011 u r nt govt. servent...n one thing more just want a simple NOC in the form of "To whom it may conern"...thats it...u r taking it so conecrnful as it is nt....
