The essay on disaster management proved to b disastrous one for the aspirants of 2011.No one of my friends who attempted dis essay had got through.Same is da tragic case wid me.........share ur views........

I attempted this essay and Alhamdolillah I qualified the written. This is a technical topic and gave me tough time in making an outline. But later on, everyting was alright.

Ya. a friend of mine also attepted this disaster and she got through it. Amazingly, one of the professors from lahore, sent her this Essay just 3 days b4 the exam and told her that it is one of the most important essay for the paper. Just think abt it. Now i understood why 90 % of the qualified candidates r frm punjab. Zara socho

i attempted n i failed. i am M.A english.just imagine.

Disaster management was very much expected to come in the paper as devastating floods had occurred last year.To give u an example,i took English classes in peshawar and our teacher gave us a task to write on this essay,that was in august2010.If the professor u mentioned gave the student the exact wording of essay that is government response to disaster,then one can be suprised.Otherwise on this forum it was mentioned in the expected essays

I remember it was mentioned in the forum many times.I prepared 10 essays for paper without preparing disaster management.IT was a big mistake on my part.I was shocked to see that none of the essays i had prepared was asked in the paper.I wrote on "Hurdles" after thinking over it for 55 minutes and wrote it down.My essay spanned over 18 pages and luckily,I got through.

I think that technical essays like disaster should only be attempted if one has all the facts and figures on his finger pores.

I feel sorry for those who failed.Better luck next time friends.

I also attempted this essay and Alhamdulillah I passed my first attempt....now I'm feeling lucky coz I prepared it just night before essay paper...

I didn't wrote any thing technical but I knew the facts n figures of damages in different provinces of those recent floods secondly coz this topic was about disasters not just 2010 floods so i included all types of floods/disasters like natural n man made...

I mentioned kashmir earth quake,2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami,floods in Australia,hurricane katrina in USA etc etc....I criticised the govt too much n i was scared that may be they wouldn't like my over criticism but it worked i think.........
I am thankful that God saved me.....one more thing I filled my entire sheet...all 25 pages,examiner just snatched my paper from my hands..............all the best for future guyz.May Allah save us in next stages as well...

i attempted it and i passed too.it was totally technical essay so i attempted it.

i also attempted Disaster management because it was a technical essay. since i am an engineer i preferred technical topics like this or global warming or energy crisis.
