Im the the 17th girl overall and 77th in punjab .. and i would give anything for foreign servie .. so as per the seats breakup women get 11 seats on women's quota in punjab, also, women will be allocated on merit basis as well .. mostly chose DMG and PSP can i hope for foreign service

i wish u luck for fsp but it looks v difficult...pray to Almighty after reciting darood pak...

Dear yasmeen this year 3 females have passed from sindh rural not 5.whether they will be allocated according to their choice or not depends upon availability of seats and their preferences.

can you explain woman qouta in detail sister. Im confused. in sindh rural there is 10% woman qouta. if this 10% qouta is from total seats, (217 seats we suppose) then woman qouta seast is 22 seats. but if 10% is of Sindh Rural qouta then seats woman qouta seat became 3 seats. So is it 22 seast or 2 seats??

if there are 22 seats, then all 3 girls will get job but if there are 2 seats then 1 poor girl will not get job?

Im thinking in right way or wrong way?

remaining girl too will be allocated as there are carry forward seats in female quota.

A reliable source indicates that ED has requested FPSC for 150 more allocations but FPSC chairman is not agreeing ..... so might have only 283 seats this year.....

Now that's completely bizarre. FPSC is only a recommending authority and relies solely on Establishment Division for the number of seats made available each year. If ED announces 500 seats for example, FPSC have to recommend 500 candidates for allocation provided that there are 500 candidates who have passed the examination successfully and fall within their respective quota. In case the no. of candidates passed is lower than no. of seats announced in particular year, the left over seats may be carried forward to the next year.

I second Redmax's opinion. If ED wants to increase the seats, it can. I do not think the chairman FPSC will not agree. There is no violation of rules or law in this.

Secondly, I think, and pray, that the delay in announcing the allocations might be due to discussions on increasing the number of seats. Otherwise I don't see any reason for such a long delay in announcing the allocations. The election year politics may result in any good news for the qualifiers.


However, the million, or billion/trillion, dollar question is whether the news in increase in number of seats is confirmed or just a rumour.
