Though FPSC keeps record of carried over seats for the fair distribution among the various entities, yet it has no say (advice if any is non-binding) in creating vacancies which is purely the job of Establishment Division.

Please get this corrected: FPSC is NOT the Appointing Authority. It only has the mandate to recommend candidates NOT appoint them. This is one of the reasons why you find at the bottom of the every notification issued by fpsc that the publication is so & so result does not entitle you to the job.

I have no misconception as I have first hand knowledge. I don't want to narrate here whole story, I have information, so I shared here and I have no concern if you or any other member believe it or not.

How many are carry forward seats for women qouta?? Im very confused, can you answer my question? thankyou
Women seats are 10% of your provincial or sub-provincial quota. For example if there are 32 seats for Sindh (R), out of this 10% seats would be allocated to women, which means 3 seats.

Please see here how FPSC distributes women quota of your area.

The women quota is deducted out of the provincial quota. This year, there will be 3-4 fresh seats reserved for women in Sindh (R). There are some carried forward seats too reserved for women. Now, the seats of which group are reserved in fresh/carried over seats is a million dollar question which can only be authentically answered by Establishment Division.

@redmax
I am quoting here the exact words used by ED in a letter to Fpsc.
Fpsc is requested to advise on the following aspects:-
a) weather the number of vacancies can be decreased or increased after announcement of result? If yes! Would it be legally tenable?
b) weather the number of vacancies announced by Fpsc for CSS examination are increased/decreased after announcement of CSS exam? If yes, what is the Fpsc experience of litigation in case of such increase?

Ok, thanx or clearing my this confusion dear sister. woman qouta seats will be occupied by woman only? thats the law? I mean if a man has better merit number than a woman, she will get seat still due to woman qouta?

Please see here how FPSC distributes women quota of your area.

Sister, this chart is again confusing me, it show only 1.14% woman qouta not 10%. according to 1.14% there are zero seats for woman qouta if there are 283 seats... what it means?

thanks for comments brother. A woman qouta seat cannot be occupied by man even if he is much higher in merit list than woman? I have heard that only left over seats are given to woman qouta like OMG and Postal. it is true?
