explain the significance of water conflict between India and Pakistan in the global perspective of climate change?
while giving reference of Indus water treaty and other pacts, it was to explain that what are the possible vulnerabilities of these pacts and their non-implementation on region's climate, the focus should be the recent floods in Pakistan, Indian attitude towards these pacts....future steps to be taken to remove further risk of disasters....management of water resources, a little background of pre-partition and post- partition water distribution,,,,,,

The examiner wanted you to accentuate the significance/importance of the current water strife between Pakistan and India based only on the changing climate.

I attempted it but couldn't attempt properly. Now when I am at home, I am thinking of points which could have made a lot of difference like

a- Its not about Pakistan and India- Its about South asia i.e. how climate is going to exacerbate the current water situation in sub-continent while both countries keep on wresting over this issue for small gains

b- The already batterred world can not afford a strife between two nuclear states who have already had three wars

@xaara g

climate change is a broader term, and global warming is its part, so everything was supposed to be described,,
