This was also my first attempt, but i studied for whole year(apart from my working hours as i am on job). I tried my level best but i think luck did not favored me in case of composition paper and my choice of 2 optional was also not the best one.
Yes you can opt for Punjabi, as regional languages are high scoring according to seniors but not in my case as i opted for Pushtu and i scored only 51.

i have studied from england and according to me i performed really well in english precis and essay and to my surprize i failed in both and didnot just fail but failed badly guys.. i got 22 in precis which is just ridiculous because i know i had 11 correct in my objective and i know that i had some worries about precis writing but other than that everything was quite satisfying for me .. comprehension was too easy so i should have scored good in that , even if i would have written 1 line in every question i would have received more marks than this .. i just want to call the checker and just want to wish him bad luck for his remaining life because this is not fair .. i have never failed in my whole life and this is the first time. Essay i got 33 which is may because i was not making drawings like some people do.. i don't draw columns that some people do .. i think css should be much superior than what i had experienced.

I don't understand how i failed English Précis and Composition paper. I am certain that minimum 16 of the objectives in the first part are correct and the examiner has given me only 5 marks in the part II.

I am still dead sure about the 16 objectives in the first part of the paper. I checked and rechecked them many times after the paper and they are correct.I don't get it. I am lecturer in English at University level and have been teaching English Language, Literature and Linguistics to Master's students for the past two years and also i am a position holder in MA.Attempted answers of Precis,direct and indirect,composition and idioms were all up to the mark.Even if i am that bad in English,at least i could have fetched 5 marks in each question and the examiner has only given me 5 marks in the second part.I don't know what's going on in FPSC. Flabbergasted.

Please correct me.

I have heard if some one fails Precis Question , he is considered fail in whole subject?

My English paper went extremely well. The objectives went well too. This is the first time I have failed in English. It has always been my best subject.
It was one whole year wasted. I prepared under tough circumstances and was very hopeful. Handled a job, kid and s the whehousehold along with preparation for CSS. This was my maiden attemp ans the next would be my last due.to age restrictions. Please do pray for my success
