for journalism: journalism for all by dr. mehdi hassan + any other good book
for punjabi : punjab rang by faysal hayat japaa and qamar hussnain qadri + navey zawiye

@ shahan
i prepared indo-pak history in 10days + 7 days of pak affairs

i made bullet point notes(included all imp dates and events) of all questions and they really helped me out in revision.

don't make detailed notes, cover one emperor in 2-3 sheets maximum.
revise those bullets points as many times as you can, so that you could count all significant happenings and their dates on your finger tips.

sadia PUNJABI mai shairi ka isteemal kitna karna hai answering mai please guide in PUNJABI i m preparing it from Punjab rang !!

@Sadia, tell me what about its scoring trend ?? replacing psychology with indopak is good or not?

2-3 times minimum, if you are good at memorizing it then you can add upto 7-8...it will certainly be a plus point

it all depends on your aptitude, and if you have prepared some portion of indo-pak history already, i think it would not be a wise decision to start with a new subject at this point of time, if one prepares well i think one can score 130-140 in indo pak history. but final decision is obviously yours, its just my humble suggestion

(assuming that you want to appear in 2014,right?)

i am not sure which book you are referring to, do you mean "contemporary affairs" by imtiaz shahid for current. affairs?
