Default Just a matter of few days...

I think at this stage its better to put aside all the speculations and forecasts.
This thing has given us all loads of tension, so lets just relax our nerves and let the future decide what happens.
May Allah give us what is best for us.
Good luck to all candidates.

** although I am from fata; just wanted to say tat we have only 4 % quota shared with candidates from gilgit baltistan although they have been given provincial status and getting seats on seperate quota in other goverment jobs. They can get executive seats through their own commission exam.

Sorry to say css is lottery game now and just wastage of time. Even 10% of hard work we do for css will make our future much brighter.

We must divert our energies towards international exams like GRE international etc
Serving this country doesn't mean establishment division or fpsc be allowed to destroy future of brilliant students who qualify css exam.

198 seats total and baqi sarai multiplied by zero.
you think minorities are not human beings so they should not get any seats for their quota?

the all pakistan open merit seats are 7.5 %.no doubt about that. This would make the top 15 guys eligible for claiming a seat in all pakistan.as per your opinion, mr omer will surely get a provincial seat of DMG but yar he will have his NUMBER 14TH CLAIM in open merit too.which could be a seat from railway.now that number 14th seat will be reserved for kpk.and to no surprise of kpk if we presume that mr islah ud din has placed railway on his higher merit opetion .SO ISLAH WILL GET THE RAILWAY SEAT INOPEN MERIT...
this is after a very thorough deliberation and working.i may be wrong.as i regard you far more wiser in CSS affairs lolz..but we can always discuss and reach on consensus that whats is kpk going to get
quota does not work that way. I have already explained it in the earlier long post i had done on post #225 of this thread. please see that.

I was going through some other threads, where people claimed to have some source telling them about number of vacancies, and I came across a post stating the number of vacancies to be around 250. When I calculated based on previous year vacancies, it rounded up to the figure of 198 fresh seats this year.

Year 2010,
Total Vacancies------269
Selected------------(199)
Carried Forward------70

Year 2011,
Carried Forward------70
Fresh vacancies-----213
Selected------------239
Carried Forward-----44

From 2009 following KP women quota & minority seats were carried forward to 2010:
PAAS-------1
PAS/DMG---1
IRS---------1
Total-------3
The interesting part is that 2010 record is missing and I could not identify that where did these seats go.

For 2010 the record is missing. Where as for 2011, 1 minority seat of OMG was left over. So, it can be concluded that this time around 1 minority seat will be carried forward in 2012 allocations of K.P.

Now coming back to the total number of seats, in 2011 K.P got 28 seats including carried forward seats which might have been around 4 in number. Assumption has been made on the following basis:
11.5% of 213: 24.495, which might have been rounded up to 24.

This time around, if total seats as stated in other posts is 250 (which includes 44 carried forward seats and 8 may be reserved for Armed Forces Quota), the fresh seats can be estimated at 198 and hence K.P's share at 23. Adding 1 carried forward seat of OMG Minority Quota can bring the total to 24.

Now the split of 23 seats can be as under:
Merit: 19
W.Q: 3
Minority 1

Correct me if I am wrong in case of above cited.

Default Changes

A change needs to be made in the list as it has come to knowledge that Merit No. 360 is also KP Domiciled. Hence, Merit No. 362 (Path Finder) will move down to KP Merit 25 and Merit No. 360 will be at KP Merit 24 (Imtiaz Ali).
