Before you can get to the allocation, you first need to pass the exam and the interview.

i think we do have a colleague in earlier batches named gyan chand ( if i remember correctly). you people might want to look for his contact and talk to him about this whole process.

Gayan Chand is indeed an FSP Officer from 35th Common and is currently posted abroad on his first posting.

The chances of getting in are purely merit based. If you are good enough no one can or will stop you.

Good Luck

In Sha Allah when you clear your CSS 2013, you have very bright chances due to 2 reasons.

1) You can utilize 2 quotas instead of 1: Women + Minorities (fact)
2) You are intelligent and hardworking individual who is more than willing to help others that is why I believe you will otherwise secure this seat on merit .

Don't worry. Once result is out and you know you have cleared, start focusing on the interview.

Dear Hoodwink, sorry to say but your analysis about Sindh(Rural) is wrong....

Dear if you haven't then please do check the final merit list of CE-2012 among top 10 students, three are from Sindh and two of these three are from Sindh(Rural).....

In CE-2011 about 100 students from Sindh qualified written and about 60 students of these were from Sindh(Rural) so keeping in view the recent trend for Sindh rural one must have at least 650 in written and about 200 in interview to get allocated....

One of my friend had scored 650 in written in CE-2012 but interview marks were 168 so even after qualifying with 650 written marks he was not allocated....

Regards

For appearance in psychological/viva you need :
At least 40% marks in each compulsory subject, 33% marks in each optional and overall 600 or above.

as a rule of thumb, 700+ would get you an allocation.

Till CE 2010 it was 700 in written, that could secure allocation. But now it is 750 at least. Many aspirants get above 700 in written and below 160 in interview and stay unallocated.
