I want to appear in 2014 CSS exams...please guide me, I am totally a beginner, studying in Masters (Defence and Diplomatic Studies) final semester. Please all fellows help me

Almost everything related to CSS, can I prepare for it at home?

the best combination. here i would suggest you that replace journalism with your regional language . best of luck.....

Yes in my opinion you are going on the right track.
Now give time to both Islamyat and sociology on daily basis. One more thing ,I would like to suggest that go with a proper planning . I mean try to have proper fixed trimmings for both of these and study these in those times.

As well as you have asked about English , I would say make doing English writing practice as your habit. Write and check yourself. It definitely helps a lot. One unconsciously and unknowingly keeps on improving gradually and after few days one clearly feels the difference.
One more thing , reading English Newspaper, preferably Dawn , needs to be ensured. The simplest way to improve English is to read good English and then Practicing writing English. And without any iota of doubt , Dawn provides you with standard English expression.

Dear the first step you can take is making your English Language expression impressive . And on the sidelines you can start a compulsory subject's preparation . Meanwhile keep pondering over on selecting a suitable subject combination as a better subject combination selection is one of the most important rung in the ladder of success in css.

I completely agree with this valuable suggestion by the reverend member . Sindhi or any regional language proves a very scoring subject . So if one can prepare it it a better way, one definitely prefer it.

do we have the option to appear in urdu or eng in islamyat? :-!

Yes the paper of Islamyat can be attempted in either of the languages, English or Urdu. If you see the paper , questions are also given in the both the languages.

Tassawur bhai i am really confused about the selection of Islamic History or Indo Pak History as my optional. I have always been a very good student of Islamiat/Islamic history and personally i like this subject but this is the only subject that i have never attempted in English during my 16 years education so i am hesitating to select it.. Whereas the thing which is appealing me to select Indo Pak is its increasing scoring trend these years as well as its assistance in Pak Affairs paper. Please suggest me what should i do.....?

See you have to attempt all other subjects in English . Is not it ? So if you can attempt those in English , then why not on the earth , the Islamic history ? Rest assured , if one has the English language expression and command on this language to pass the essay paper , one can attempt any subject in English without any inconvenience. I would strongly recommend you to go for Islamic history if you have to make choice between Indo Pak and Islamic history. See after a long time Indo Pak gave good score in 2012, and that too only good scores , not very good scores. but Islamic history is among very high scoring subjects and largely remains scoring subject. Indo Pak history , in my eyes , still remains a risky choice. It sometimes proves to be a nightmare , while Islamic history at least not ditches the aspirants.

I am going to appear in 2014 examination.so i want group discussion on all subject topics regarding papers and reviewing previous five years papers questions so its time to start the preparation with enthusiasm.my otional subjects are 1) Indo-pak history 2)sociology 3)journalism 4)sindhi 5)mohammaden law

Islamic history/Indo pak history, choose any one in which you may find comfort in study,meanwhile don"t go on trend of the marks thaht which one is high scoring subject or which one is low scoring.It totally depends upon your study apptitude.while as for as Mode of language is concerned you have never attempted the paper in English of Islamic history so don't worry its enough just to prepare for Essay writting; you will automatically attempt the paper well.
