Sir I have prepared EDS, Islamiyat, Pak Affairs, pashto and I am taking classes of English from a teacher for essay and precis papers. I am confused in optional subjects. I am going for

geography
Pashto
Public Ad

for the rest of the 200 marks I am thinking to opt Islamic History and culture. So I want to ask

1. Is IH&C lengthy?
2. Is IH&C tough?

let me tell you that I am an electronics engineer and have not study IH&C before. Kindly suggest me books for IH&C. will two books cover the whole subject of IH&C. and other question is the book you mentioned for geography in earlier threads are about 4 books, Do not you think only 2 books can cover the course.

All subjects are of 100 marks.If u are done with it,its ok but if not then rethink.There should be one subject of 200 marks or you must opt punjabi if you are from punjab.Good luck.

Everyone is doing that.You can't survive on little salary.



There are books available in market.In lahore, Ilma book house in Urdu bazar is an option.

Hmm.Sorry dear m not sure about it.Better call FPSC and ask them.

IHC is very good option.Take three books and read them very selectively.
1.Hitti.
2.Sohail Bhatti.
3.Faridi, book that is of most important solved question and read this book completely.
Last but not the least prepare MCQs from past papers.

Dear Sir,
One question confusing me frequently is that if in a paper of 200 marks, one secure more than 66 in paper A and secure less than 33 in paper B.. Will it be considered "Passed" or he must secure minimum 33 in each paper i.e A>= 33 & B >= 33
Please guide me in this regard

Brother what do you mean by selectively......... either I have to cover some topics from 1st book and the some from 2nd book or I have to thoroughly read the first two books............ second question is that please brother tell me about just two books for geography....as 3,4 books will make it difficult to cover...

i opted journalism and education in my graduation.
I.law, IR theories in masters, international political economy, foreign policy etc ( Masters in Diplomacy and Strategic Studies)

i have selected following optionals:
