Look at fpsc website it is mentioned "In order to apply online for CSS-2014, All intending candidates have to make fresh registration and profile."
Make your new account. I had also applied online last year. I have seen website of fpsc. In it there is written that we are supposed to make our account once again as we did last time. For further information contact to fpsc website ... www.fpsc.gov.pk

Best of Luck...
Dear 2014 aspirants

Never Opt psychology.

In 2011 there were 800 candidates opting psychology
In 2012 there were 2000
in 2013 there were 5000 candidates opting psychology

it was the best subject for 2012 but it will be worst for 2013 and onwards.

Sociology

2012 CSS 5009 candidates
2013 CSS 7909 candidates

ab khud andaza laga lo k in subjects ko RAGRA kion lg rha hay ?

instead of these two subjects people must opt public add business add arabic etc
Agree....... I have also taken CSS-2013...."hamari bari me e akar psychology ko pitna tha"..........For coming attempt, Psychology would again be dangerous, besides, it contains hard work, if we give same time to other subjects such as arabic and geography. That would be a safe side.

I submitted my application of CSS-2013 manually. I didn't get the roll number slip at my home. Should I do it online or should I do it manually again?

A large number of candidates faced this problem in 2013. Roll no. slip has nothing to do with manual or online apply. you can take a print of online roll no slip.
Choose the mode of apply which is feasible for you. Some candidates faced some difficulties after online apply in 2013, so i'll recommend you to apply manually.

Well we guys are desperately waiting for 2013 result because it is a real confusion to select optionals.Written result will indicate whether to move on with the same selection or try a new one.
My optionals were Psychology, int law, journalism, sociology and punjabi. Now i am in a fuss which sub should i replace.
Speculations wont work I need result before 31st.:thinking

Well I completely agree with you.
We need our result before next year deadline.
I wish FPSC could heed to this legitimate demand.

Well, the subjects would tell their story once you get the result, but not before you get the DMS! Anyhow, it's self explanatory.

Expect somewhere near 130-140 in psych if prep was good (150 if you are lucky).
Expect 55-60 for I.LAW.
For Journalism if you are lucky and have been able to do quite well, then 60-70.
For socio, sorry to say, its a bit tricky :p Can be 40. Can be 60. keep your fingers crossed.
Punjabi and most languages are a win-win option. So 70-80.

Out of these even if you get good marks in socio and journal, try to replace these in your next attempt. Hope this helps.
