Yes sure, I will Insha'Allah and you keep up the tremendous work!
I would like to read your written piece of work as well. So far I am lagging behind in EDS but I shall try to speed up. What are your optionals, Khadija?

For the poor

It has been long since the lingua of our foreign policy has been rotating around the issue of growth. The questions how to increase investment, reduce fiscal deficit and so on and so forth have often irked us. What we have forgotten in this new world of cellular communications, expressways and bullet trains is how to ameliorate the deplorable conditions of the poor segment of our society. About 50 percent of this population is undernourished while the public schools have been sent into the state of doldrums. In such conditions, the government instead of boasting over its success in stabilizing the currency and increasing the level of stocks in the market must focus on the humanitarian issues which have gripped the country in a sour knot. It must create such an environment in the society that people are able to live a healthy life.

(Looking forward to reading your comments and piece of writing as well...In my opinion, this article should have also included the recommendations instead of just the criticism aimed at the government. Another thing, I feel economic growth for any country is very important. This is because as economic growth takes place, the living standards also increase. So according to me humanitarian issues and economic growth must be looked upon side by side and not one after the another).

Dear Aliina,
I dont type, I just only jot down all the points on the papers as much as I comprehend ( I am not good in comprehending the gist of the articles & Editorials most of the times).

If you are lagging behind in EDs, dont worry; your determination will rewards you with good IA.

WEll am still perplexed about my optionals. I did BBA Hons and have opted Psychology, Sociology, Journalism, Muslim Law & US History. I might opt Islamic History, Public Administration, Busniss Administration and Statistics along with psychology.

I request all the seniors to comment about Public Ad, Business Ad, & Muslim Law if they are highly scoring are not.

Regards

Alina, you did a good work. On your request I have typed, you may compare. But believe me you have written very well and I agree to your stance

For the poor
Ironically, Pakistan is facing multifacet challenges from the past several years. Government has been trying to attract foreign invertment, reducing its fiscal & budget deficit, and maintaining foreign reserves in order to stabilise its currency but all in vain. It is a country having poor infrastructure, demolished public schools and a myraid of poor sticken masses are succumbed to death. On the contrary, country is proliferated with cellular communications, highways and fast food corners. The recent seminar on the social justice impact of the budget addressed that 50pc of the population of 180 million are malnourished and day by day poor people are driving towards vulnerable group and falling below the poverty line. This statistics is alarming for the government who loves to spend more on bullet trains, metro buses and highways rather than mobilizing the resouces. It is high time for government to ponder about its policies and render some relief to low-income group by controlling rising prices and creating employment opportunities. It will eventually leads the economy towards inclusive economic growth which a country is in dire need.

@Khadija
You cannot opt for Public ad. and Business ad. simultaneously. Either opt for Public ad. or Business ad.
Psychology and Islamic History seem feasible to me. So, you are done with 400 marks in this way. Now for the remaining 200 marks: Public ad. though average scoring could be a better choice for you, as, you have a Business background; However, you can opt for Statistics(A very scoring subject demanding hard work) instead of Public ad. For the remaining 100 marks, opt for International Law, if you want a very scoring subject in your list. Another option could be a regional language for you, i.e. Sindhi, Punjabi, Pashto or Baclochi depending upon your cognizance in particular regional language. Now think and select subjects among them.
PS: Wait for other seniors' opinions which will certainly guide you better.
Regards.

Post Request to All interested aspirants

Please stop messaging me on skype. I cannot reiteratively reply to each and every aspirant due to time constraint. Adressing to all; I am not conducting any group study for EDS yet as the matter of the fact it is self-study subject. Just be in touch with this thread for daily tasks of EDS. You may join me in group call for only Pakistan Affairs & Current Affairs. I wll keep posting on forum for further proceedings. However, you people may join me on weekened (every saturaday at 10pm almost) for test. In the coming Saturaday, we will have a small session of quiz for EDS. And it would contain all the topics till then we would have covered. In that session of half an hour, we will randomy ask any covered topic to any aspirant (here, indeed self accountability concerns).

Suggestions & queries are always appreciated. thankyou

Regards,
Khadija

Dear Khadija

You did marvelous job I am not an expert but what I observed, wanna share with you .
you should try to concise the article so that its save the time of reader I somewhere read that if you write in perspective of reader point of view so you should write concise and comprehend .
secondly there is some spelling mistake like,
multifacet =multifaceted
invertment=investment
myraid =myriad
sticken = stricken
resouces = resources

Suggestion:
Try to write in MS Word it will tell your spelling mistake and you can know where you have lacking.

Dear Khadija and respected aspirants

I found some Notes about EDS prepared by sir Faisal Karim (Werewolf 41st CTP) so preparing new notes and finding definition is sort of time consuming so we just go trhrough these notes which will be very helping in our EDS preparation so I suggest you Khadija to go through it and make some daily task from it.must check the First and seventh post of Sir faisal.
Here is the link of the thread

Suggestions are appreciated.

Here is mine peace of writing ,comments required please.

For the poor

In the last decade our economic policy makers major discussion based on, balance of fiscal deficit, foreign investment accumulation, Tax diversion from investment to consumption and accumulation of reserve assets. As an economist the country’s paradigm investment like cellular sector and construction of highways on the contrary the poor which are the major population of our country are completely neglected, having no basic necessities, the half of 180million population have malnutrition problem. The infrastructure of schools are about to collapse, the railway structure is also in bad condition.
The government proudly talks about currency stability and rising stock level of the stock market but it’s the time for the policy maker to focus on the poor for the stability of economy and it’s the responsibility of country to take care of them and provide them their basic rights.

Dear All

Try to use small sentences and you need more practice. Do writting practice as much as you can. Insha'allah you will improve to the level of perfection.

Please read difference between simple and compound sentences. Your write up is good but not up to the mark. It is an initial pace, insha'allah you will do it much better in your upcoming attempts. Just be simple and crystal clear in your own ideas, don't follow the same style of editorial. You need to understand the editorial and then write it down in your own diction. Overall, its a nice attempt.
