I would like you to please share your experience about scoring and nonscoring subject dilemma. My study on this matter reveals that it has something to do with the number of candidates opting a particular subject. Pushto, Balochi, British history, Philosophy are among the least picked subjects and therefore their scores have been fairly good enough while the subjects like journalism, sociology, international law, indopak history (exceptions geography, Psychology) are the subjects that are opted by almost every other candidate and therefore they have come under strict marking criterion of CSS exams in the past. Please tell me, how far is my assumption correct? While the logic also dictates that FPSC is always trying to cut off the trend of the subjects that are chosen the most. Apart from that, FPSC also makes efforts to limit the number of students crossing the 600 marks barrier as it would be easier for them to hold lesser candidates and by lodging strict marking in the subjects which have been chosen by a great number of candidates, they can achieve their mentioned goal. Kindly present your opionion on this matter.
