I think that is the reason of 3% passing ratio. People are taking CSS as they are born to be CSP officer. It is a great challenge for which you have to be prepared to win. Every second of your preparation counts. Allah gives triumph to those who try for it. Do not take CSS for granted please.
You people are very talented. You need just serious-ness to reach your destination.
The worst part is that other poeple are using these DMCs to measure trends and make conclusions about examiners and FPSC. And then using that to modify their own preparation for the exams.

People should not be obsessed with "Kitnay maheenay tayari ki?"
We all are gifted in different ways. Our skills to grasp different concepts are different. Some people can do it in two months or even less. Some need more than a year. Rather than looking at others, we should assess ourselves where we stand and devise our preparation strategy accordingly.

It’s no more about your grasp and understanding of the subjects
You can even appear in the exam without knowing a single word and still can come on top of it
So I believe those people who are claiming to study for 2 months. They were lucky to choose subjects which were not on the target list this year.

Also depends on schooling medium and communication skills apart from scoring trends

This is as simple as it gets. But as i said, people here are ignoring their own strengths and going after the successful strategies and books used by others without having a clue what the other guy's education level is. A recipe for disaster.

Exactly sometimes talented students when see this situation before appearing or applying for CSS lose heart to see so much ratio of failures.
