Well, FPSC does not have a reason to release the result earlier. As mentioned by someone else on the forum that in 2015 when we had a similar situation, where the result was about to be announced, it only got delayed till the end of the month of October. FPSC, according to its latest bulletin had the second most number of candidates in its history appearing in the exams. The number this year was almost 12,000, last year it was 9000+. Thus, the time taken this year should axiomatically be more than last year's. Plus there is hardly any incentive for the FPSC's employees to publish the result before the deadline given to them which has to be in October. Expecting FPSC, who has not even published the annual report of 2017's CSS result, publishing the result before the deadline given to them would be naivety.

Around what time result was announced of previous years?? What time of the day we should expect that the result will come out???

Imo anticipating the result earlier like next week would make it much much harder to wait if at the end of it all, the result is to still come at its normal time i.e. 1st week of October.
Whether it comes early or late, we'll know. Till then, all these speculations and reasons have no weight.

BTW Anabiya,, i think the result last year was announced in the evening of 6th October.

No one gives deadline to FPSC. It is an autonomous institution and has full authority to announce the result either in September, November or any other month........

So, I guess the rumors were true. Sir Adeel was right the last time as well (for both 2017 written and final result). All of you should get ready for the result.

Agha sahab bilkul sahi farmaya aap ne, fpsc is an autononoua body. The deadline I was talking about was within the department given to the examination department. Kher, Adeel Niaz sahab ki news last year bhi almost accurate thi, sirf aik din ka faraq tha. So, i guess, given his cresibility, ho hi jaega is week announce....
