Hello everyone,
I just wanted to say that this is an amazing forum, thanks for all the orginization it took from everyone.
My questions are as follows, is there any height minimum a canidate must be.
And also after someone is accepted and posted is their any restriction on marriage. And vice versa, prior to being accepted as an officer.
thanks before hand for any knowledge and advise.

Candidates whose height is less than 1524 millimeters will not be consideres physically fit for the appointment to any of the BPS-17 posts under the the Federal Goverment.In case of female candidates,this standard will be reduced to 1473 millimeters for the posts which are completely sedentary provided the weight of such candidates is not less than 43.5 kg.
(Annexure 'B' Regulation for the physical examination of candidates for the competative examination)
Reagrding Marriage,i think there is no obligation(my own view so no responsibility).

hi,

i suspect there is some marriage related restriction but just in foreign office; if one's spouse is already rendering service to FO then the other can't compete for FO but for rest of departments.

plz tell...how do they test the candidate...do they allow contact lenses, how much weight is acceptable for a man of 5 feet 9 inches tall...

Default Minimum Height
My Height is 1512 mm that is 4.9833 feets, but according to rules of CSS acceptable height is 1524 mm that is 5 Feet.
Any chances that they consider me fit according to height?
