Books For "Geology"
Gentlemen;
I know that people do not select subjects like Geology. Unfortunately, I have studied it for three long years in Engineering, but have not found any reliable book for it. If any one of you have opted it or have any idea about "Geology books for CSS", please help me.

Need help
I am an electrical engineer and work in oil & gas multinational based in karachi, i have no previous backgroungd in geology but going through the syllabus it seemed to me that geology is not a rocket science. Can anyone who has priorly attempted this subject can advise me if it is possible for a beginner to complete this subject in 2 months and what is the scoring trend in geology?
Waiting anxiously:

Books
Aslam o alaikum!
No any single book can assist u in covering all the subdivisions of geology, you will have to consult atleast 5 to 7 books...
geology is divided into various branches like petroleum, engineering, paleontology, stratigraphy, structural, field etc. So you`ll have to study them individually....
Essentials of Geology (eighth edition) by frederick lutgens can help you for general geology. Beginners should read this book.
