Got 49 due to English Newspaper "Daily Time" the best newspaper for IR, current affairs. English Essay as well journalism. i recommend this newspaper for you

IR is really not Scoring, try forestry....

A very interesting subject but Unfortunately Low scoring and sometime candidate failed this subject

To be honest my marks amazed me ,since i didn't even complete my 4th answer. I only wrote the introduction to the 4th answer and managed to score 76 in the paper .

Virk brother as your marks amazed you....so they amaze all of us....

From where your prepared (books, net, newspaper), which questions you attempted ..... & how you attempted ie what were your strong points to catch examiner's heart ....

So far Khan scored high ....would you like to give tips to potential aspirants..

Try to cover the complete syllabus in all the subjects you opt. I read Sarfraz Akhund , chandar prakash and sultan khan and made my notes which covered the syllabus as well as all angles from the past papers. Important articles from newspapers and jahangir world times are also helpful.

I attempted the following :

Q#1 Critically evaluate the joining of Western Alliances (SEATO & CENTO) by Pakistan and explain its political, economic and strategic consequences for the state's policy.

Q#2 Do you agree that the post-Cold War international scenario has generated more constraints that opportunities for Pakistan's foreign policy? If so, what those? Suggest measures enabling Pakistan to face the 'new challenges'.

Q#3 Discuss evolution and development of the discipline of International Relations; define the dominant factors responsible for and explain their role in the post-cold war era.

Q#4 Do you support the argument that Iran-US nuclear deal will bring a new wave of instability in the region and can also cause serious implications for global non-proliferation regime?
