I am an engineer too and opting for physics as well... but the problem is that i talked to some guys who took Physics in CSS previously and they say that physics should never be opted... I am very confused because they say that Physics aint a scoring subject....

@maliksahib
bro every person has his own taste of subjects.if u like physics it will be easy for u.u r engineer and according to my knowledge physics is not a big job for engineers.well,it also depends on your previous record about physics.if u have done good in previous years then believe me it will be HALWA for u... if a numerical is asked in paper or any proof then i think examiner will get no chance of deducting your marks if u do the job well.....the most important of all is your interest.
thanx

me too an Engg and according to my experience by opting Physics u may save yourself from reading of so many text books and journals sitting in a library of sm Univ [IN case u opt sm theory-arts subject instead of Physics]. I believe at least Engg major in Electronics, Electrical and Telecom MUST not have any hesitation in opting Physics as an optional subject.

regards,
Hira.

what to do?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

hi fellows i m zaman,i was regular member of this forum sometimes ago,but now i hardly find time for this forum, but i love this forum,i read his forum thoroughly when i was in UET,found many useful informations.really its plethora of knowledge,i started preparation for css during engineering,i intended that i would not apply anywhere for job and will skip the job and prepare for css after completion of engg.
once it happened ,i was at home,my friend wass sending his CV in a multinational company ,he also sent my cv,test was announced and appeared for test without any formal preparation,i cleared test and then appeared for interview and got the seat.this is the best job of engg
starting pay is 40000 plus, accomodation, full facilities, furnished office,9 return air tickets a year ,and many things.
Carrier is growing more than my expectations but i m telling honestly that still my heart beats for CSS,i love css ,css aspirants ,but its difficult for my to miss this job,
this is start of my carrier,so i hardly find any time for css(except 2 hours in which i study dawn newspaper)
my four year thinking that i will skip job is reversed, what to do, i dont know ,i m sitting in my office ,and sending this mesg,
can i prepare css?
should i forget this dream?
should i contact some competent student of css,to take notes from him or her and prepare 40 topics of every subject?

can anyone of you help me?
wishing u happy and successfu life
M.zaman
0345-4804566
i m rewriting this mail ,i will request u all engineers specially Waseem ghurmani that complie notes of physics as u have time, and opportunity being in uet.i wil help u,divide work, contact me

@M.ZAMAN
bro u have faced same problem like mine. Our parents wants to see us at governing posts and as well as earning best salary. This is not possible at a time.U have to choose one
1.good salary
2.powerful job
everything depends on u,your parents will
are you able to make both ends meet in just 15000?????
if yes and you have a powerful family background then u must go for CSS
if u think u will make money in CSS then for GOD sake dont ruin your life.and if u really have a spirit to serve the nation then accept this challenge.
when i asked my parents about engineering job they said that they had no interest in my SILENT LIFE
so will u prefer a silent life or ............
honestly speaking i am also confused what should i do....
u have a good job and good carreer, its also competent to css as in today's world if u got money,u have got everything
so again its upto u.no one can better guide u than urself.dont be tense put it to ALLAH and see what HE chooses for u.
as for as physics is concerned uet liberary is full of nice physics books and soon when i get time i will start discussion on different topics and hope people opting for physics will show
and if u visit this forum regularly and see whats in "TODAYS POSTS"
it will help u a lot.
have a nice time and think with open mind whats best for u

AOA !! I think that If you are opting for political science then you should choose Constitutional law as well cuz the course of Paper II is almost overlaping.. secondly, I am also an engineer but I havn't opted physics... the reason was that Its a time taking subject.....
