Business Administration consists of three parts:

Marketing
Management
Finance

These three parts are actually three subjects which are normally taught to business graduates. The first two parts are theoretical in nature and thus may be covered by anyone. The 'Finance' part is mathematical. Although, its not difficult to prepare the subject keeping in consideration the past papers, but for non-business students, I would not advise to opt this.

yes business administration is a good option and dont hesitate to consider it as optional subject, its easy and can be prepared in a month, yes! financial part is bit mathematical but its better than public admin as bublic admin is quite boring subject...so just go for it...considering past papers is essential...

My suggestion is don't opt it if you are not a business graduate.
This subject is of 100 marks but in reality it comprises of three full subjects i-e Management, Marketing and Financial Management. The time you need to just finish the syllabus is minimum two months if you have no prior knowledge, but in order to understand really the subjects, you need in depth knowledge of Other subjects such as Consumer Behavior for Marketing and Startegic Managment ( to some extent) for Management......

So i would advice you not to opt it as it is relatively more difficult and time consuming than other 100 marks subjects. There is also a rule of thumb, the subjects that are meant to be opted by professionals must not be opted by those who are not professionals in that field...You must go for Regional languages or any other general nature subject such as Sociology or Journalism.

BEst of luck.

being MS IN BUSINESS admin ... I will advice u to opt public admin , sociology or jounlism ..becoz this is a subject specially meant for its specialist .... you cant be a specialist in management theories , marketing , organizational behavior , and toughest strategic management ... so instead of intruding yourself into it for just 100 marks try something general
