I also opted for European history but I am thankfully pass .

Your marks are not according to the difficulty level of paper that was not that high.

I passed yesterday's result so don't know the marks .
I got 38 MCQS correct .
Subjective went well too .

Brother, though my both paper went good.I dont understand what I made wrong in this paper,but one thing I would surely say that I did not beat about the bush.Whatever they asked in question I directly addressed it with straightaway answer.I avoided with complexity and mixture which could highly possible for such decline in marks nevertheless,lets hope for the best at-least I passed European History paper but it is not as per expectation sadly

I just confined myself into these following parts.

History of Europe Since 1789 by I.J. CHAWLA

Yale University lectures on Youtube

Documentaries and random search on net.

Some one else who got highest marks than me can give you more credible guideline but this is what I did before attempting the exam. Despite hard work and to the point answer I got this marks which is not really bad as per low marking trend in this year,but lets see those who pass what marks they would yield in this year.

No doubt it is very lengthy. All I can say 100 % commitment and read all topics in chronological order. Whatever you read from book then watch the same documentary followed by your own scrap notes in the form of bullet points,because in the end of a day it will prove very handy.

Just keep focused on dates,events,revolutions etc, because you are tackling with European History and it contains loads of similar names such as, King Louis xvi,xviii, Tsar I,II,and many others so focus mind healthy discussion and videos from various University lectures will be extremely beneficial for you.
