Well, Way of answering is almost same for all the subjects, though some points are there for each subject. Like in science subjects the answer looks good if you use the scientific terms in place of ordinary words.

So as the case with History papers, one should concentrate on names of places and personalities, dates and progress of events. Therefore in Islamic History one should include the names and all these things which gives good impression to the examiner. For instance, if one forgot the name of important personality or place in middle of the answer he/she will be in real trouble. However, Dates can be omit for sometimes but will cut the marks if one mention the wrong date.

Heading is good option for lengthy answers not only in Islamic History, even in every paper you should prefer the format of give headings. Because examiner would easily understand your answer if it is divided with suitable heading for each part of the answer.

However, for conclusion I must say that it depends on question asked. sometimes it would not necessary to give conclusion and mostly if question regarding mere history then you just have to define the incident and its relevant impact or anything that has been asked.

So it did not need any conclusion from your side.
