A book is available now in the market titled Environmental science by Dr. Farooq Ahmad
I have started reading it and so far i have found it easy to undrrstand and has good and to the point material

Please refer more if any body knows

fawad brother please can u make a combine study with me as i m also started book of farooq ahmed but found it difficult from very 1st chapter:-(..
thnings are quite lenghty in this book which seems out of order

Is Dr Farooq's book enough ? It covers whole syllabus of the subject outline in detail or not ? please inform me

yes i agree the subject is a bit difficult to understand, i can guide you as i have done my Bachelors in Environmental Science, and i am no promoter of the book but i believe it covers the syllabus effectively and it being lengthy is the requirement of the syllabus.

I am going to opt as i have done my masters in this subject. Albeit Environmental science by Dr. Farooq Ahmad is a good book but i will suggest you guys not to rely on book rather read and collect material from internet, newspapers etc. The topics like history, sustainable development issues, global initiatives, environmental pollution, climate change, environmental governance, assessment and management may be present in any book but will not be well covered and updated. So in my opinion Internet is the best option.
