Urdu is no doubt an interesting subject and one can easily atleast pass it if enough concentration is given to the syllabus but keep in mind that if you are picking urdu for being easy you are committing the biggest mistake. Only those guys who have some background in urdu literature and are interested in literature generally should opt urdu. Without a strong grip over literary language it is doubtful whether one would be able to get good marks just with the help of above mentioned books. To give a literary touch to your writing read Tareekh-e-Adab-e-Urdu by Raam Babu Suksena and Aab-e-Hayat by Mualana Muhammad Hussain Azad. Abu-ul-Kalam's Ghubar-e-Khatir would also help polishing your ability to write a standard language. Keep in mind that by opting urdu your aim shouldn't be to get only pass marks. I feel and hope that one can score more than 130/200 marks easily if due share of attention and labor is given to Urdu.

actually i was having few ambiguities
1. mere optionals indopak, muslim law, socio, journlzm n int law thay......time bohat kam hai so m.law n socio is half completed n indopak is almost done but i m having a serious concern abt jrnlzm n i.law.....i knw i can do both of them but time is v short to give 2 different subjects alternate time....i wanted to keep a subject which cud replace both of these.....urdu lukd like an option but ppl say course is huge i wont be able to to do it n all2. can i do it in this residual amount of time??
3. i dont have any perticular info as this forum 2 dznt explain urdu point of view n content that much......urdu's support and content provided at css-forum is really half hearted as compared to other optnlz
4. Is their any specific gud book which cvrz both part 1 and part 2 of urdu in one buk and wud u plz guide me thru as i m being too panic abt it.
