he recommended cheema's book, this book is quite precise
company law and arbitration law are not given in this book, rest of the syllabus is covered
but i will also buy shukla today for a bit more detailed study,
anyhow from cheema,s book you can cover the syllabus(except company and arbitration law) in 4 to 5 days

Ok thanks, I will have a look at Cheema's book. Yar do you know what to prepare from company law as it is too lengthy.....

And for Accountings and Auditing, I think, ACCA revision is enough?

you can buy shukla's book for company law, by the way you can choose not to study it, i mean selective study. if you prepare arbitration act which is much much shorter than company law, you can attempt atleast five or six questions, i am planning not to prepare company law, lets see, time budget will decide,
not the revision of whole ACCA, infact may be 20% or less, nothing from p1 to p7, just revise fundamentals, even not the full syllabus of fundamentals, selective from each fundamental
like f6, we have to prepare pakistani tax system, just a nominal portion of that, basic calculations and exemptions(like which were in f6)
go through the paper 2 syllabus, its quite precise than ACCA fundamentals

Dear thank you so much, your guidance is soothing for me. For tax I have bought book: 'Synopsis of taxes in Pakistan', is this book ok to cover tax portion?

And for company Law I agree with your suggestion, it is too lengthy, and we can skip it in choice. You preparing Arbitration from cheema's book?

you are most welcome.
i have not seen this book, i have not started preparing A&A yet, but my plan is not to follow any book for the tax portion, i will just understand the articles and the sub-articles which are given in the syllabus from the income tax ordinance, it is easily available online, then i will practice the past papers, i wont think that there will be any problem then.
arbitration law is not there in cheema book, it is given in shukla, it is short, just consisting of 13 pages including case laws,
do buy shukla book even if you dont study from it, because it costs just rs 120, hehe, you can seek help regarding any topic from that book

Dear, first of all Eid mubarak
Yar I am planing to substitute Mercantile Law for US history. Us history is short and like a story, which is easy to memorize. On the other hand Mercantile law is hazardous, questions can be asked from any part of the syllabus. Questions need to be answered exactly as the law states, with no personal views.

What do you recommend?

OK, but let me know how are you finding Mercantile law, as you proceed in the syllabus. Insha Allah from tomorrow I am going to start A&A, my first target: Taxation.
