Aoa,

You may opt mercantile law but yes its cases might confuse you. You've to learn lot of case laws.

Business admin is good but its course is bit lengthy as compare to that of journalism. Moreover, if you're good at numerical then go for it unless opt journalism. Its also a good subject, cramming won't help anymore so your approach must be analytic.

Stay blessed.

Profound regards,
RMKamran.

Aoa,

Yes you're right it is so. Both subjects are scoring but if cramming case laws bother you then you ought to opt USA history. I am giving you my example that I've done BBA honors but my optional subjects are different from my academic background except psychology and sociology. Although I've got A+ in ML twice during my studies but haven't opt it. The thing is, one should secure himself and shouldn't opt a subject which can be risky. If ML seems difficult to you, go for USA history. Best of luck

Stay blessed.

Profound regards,
RMKamran.

I scored 61 Marks, all I did was I mentioned lot of examples of my own, no specific case and there were a few section and article numbers that I mentioned. And I prepared it in 3 days , though studied in B.com , 5 years back then.

Its rewarding subject and depends if you can manage to write formally and their specific language to interpret the law.

rest , go for what your heart desires.

good luck!
