Brother argument from analogy is a crucial part of Inductive reasoning, it does not provide solid and incontrovertible proof for the conclusion as does the Deductive Logic but its conclusion can be highly probable (Likely to happen) but cannot be certain.

How argument by inductive analogy is probable, see following example.

Some friends are planning to watch a good movie at the weekend, but none of them knows if any good movie is running on theaters these days. So they rely on Inductive reasoning. The have a look at the movies and see that there is a movie named
Bourne Legacy was running on a cinema. They had watched all the movies of Bourne series and had found all of them very good so concluded that this one will also be a good one.

Now brother, they can hope that the movie will be good but cannot be sure about that. They have just relied on previous experience with the same movie series which was good so they decided that the latest one would also be good. BUT when they watch the movie, they got disappointed. So brother as you saw that their conclusion was very probable but not certain. Hope you got the point.

The key here is to understand the correct meaning of probable, it means which is very likely but never certain.
