Default Books for Arabic Preparation in English
Aoa!!!!

I have recently decided to go for Arabic in CSS 2013 and i want to attempt it in english. I will be highly obliged if someone recommends me some really good books for its preparation.

There is no such book in market yet. However notes of Sir Hafiz Arshad are widely used. I myself used them. They are instrumental in attempting paper. I was able to secure 140 in 2011 by solely following those notes. Now they have been updated and made more helpful.

brother can u please elaborate what sort of improvements have been made as i am following his notes which have solved papers up to 2011

people say history of Arab by clement haunt is good. google it out u ll find pdf copy of it

The solved papers of 2012 and 11 also have been added. Besides these few more short questions and MCQs have been added and there have been few corrections as well both in MCQs and short Questions.


Brother ! Have you yourself studied that book of Clement Haunt ? Dear that definitely would be lengthy one and would not be easy to follow.

I live in Multan and want to get Hafiz Sb updated MCQs and Short Answer question i hope it will include Essays either.

Is there any way forward that i can eschew Lahore Trip and get it via TCS

Arabi Adab ki Tarikh by M Kazim..... written in v simple language, will help in understanding the concept.
