Thanks.

" I want to teach you five of those things which deserve your greatest anxiety to acquire them: Have hope only in Allah. Be afraid of nothing but sins. If you do not know a thing never feel ashamed to admit ignorance. If you do not know a thing never hesitate or feel ashamed to learn it. Acquire patience and endurance because their relation with true faith is that of a head to a body, a body is of no use without a head, similarly true faith can be of no use without attributes of resignation, endurance and patience." quote of Hazrat Ali (a.s).

I am sorry to disagree here but let me advise you clearly. There is difference in both subjects. People will generally guide you to take either of them and would refer them as easy subject however I would say the otherwise.

Sociology: It's a bit tricky subject. You need to understand sociological theories and their applicability in your answers. These theories are not that easy. Furthermore the questions are pretty lengthy and the trend of the examination has also changed. I opted it in 2010 and score only 48 marks.

Journalism: It's rather easier than sociology because of it's nature and scope. It has two clear sections each having very predictable questions. It's less tricky and technical in contrast with sociology. Book by mehdi hassan "Journalism for All" covers it well.

Journalism has better MCQs output as well. I have scored 61 in it, therefore my advice would be to consider this from both of your options.

please discuss it further and choose wisely!
Best of Luck!

Default @Thanks to Omer Bhai..

Thank You Omer Bhai. I really appreciate your viable advice. I was not inclined towards socially that much for I have not studied it thoroughly and have a nodding acquaintance with it. However, as regards Journalism, I can understand it more easily than Sociology for I think it is much general than sociology. Thanks once again... you have helped me a lot and have drove me out of dilemma.

+1

But Still I will go with sociology In Sha Allah as I have already covered 50% of it.
Can u suggest me the time span required to prepare journalism 100% and sociology 50%?
