Please all the people like me who are not familiar with this subject,don't buy this book.
Initially when I started with journalism by reading this book I thought it was really tough.Then I came across notes ,papers and other books and I found out that it is not.

The problems with this book:
1) It jumps from one topic to another.For instance if we take sir syed Ahmad Khan's role.You'll find the writer junmping from Sir syed to some other topic now and then.
2) The chronological order of events is missing.
3)Lots of grammatical and spelling mistakes.
4)Very comprehensive.What can be told in 2-3 lines has been elongated to three four pages.
5) Philosophical approach which is unneeded is there.
6)Repitive

It may help professionals or people familiar with this subject but I have wasted my time over it.
This is just my opinion.I may be wrong

journalism for all by Dr. mehdi Hassan
and a book by Abid Tahemi. These both books are good for journalism.

For PR and communication I used my brother's management books.Frankly this forum has proved to be really helpful for this subject.If you go over various threads,you may be able to compile notes.Otherwise internet and Mehdi Hassan book is helpful
