Dear members,
Please suggest a good book for the preparation of journalism..
N guide me that can we attempt the paper of journalism in urdu?
If yes, then kindly recommend an urdu book also for its preparation.

The best book is by imtiaz shahid but latest edition.
I read jehangir, mehdi hassan, and imtiaz shahid and this is the best, covers whole syllabus and gives excellent thoughts to cover analytical questions in paper.
I dont know about abid tahemi book.

It is also a highly recommeded book. Btw: You are not suppose to read all books. Choose any one (or two) and study them to make your notes. Plus get help from internet, there you will find almost everything about it.

I think Aabid Tehami's book should be used as a basic source, as it is written according to CSS syllabus. But you must not depend only on a single book. You must use some other books for association, e.g Dr Mehdi Hassan, Imtiaz Shahid, or Mirza Yousaf

I have yet to purchase a book for journalism and Mr Mir Raza Ozgen the 2nd position holder of 2012 exam who scored 80+ marks in journalism, suggested me Abid Tehami's "comparative journalism" telling that he relied on this source for preparation. One more thing I would like to suggest is that you read one book ten times rather than reading ten books one time each- too many cooks spoil the food.
