Exclamation Selective study of psychology?

I have a question from seniors and candidates who have attempted psychology before that did you study whole syllabus of psychology or only 4 topics out of 8?

Because for Paper 1 there are almost 8 topics and in paper there are 8 questions from each topic from which only 4 need to be attempted. So did you study only four topics from the beginning or covered everything?

Obviously your prepration is for CE 2013..so u do not ve to face such situation as short time etc..so try to cover whole syllabus as it ll be helpful for objective if you cram all topics...On other hand go through past paper you ll find many repeated topics so prepare them well...

You did not get my point..every year there are 8 questions from 8 topics with choice of 4. I want to ask that can we study only 4 topics and attempt only those questions?

if you prepare selectively for 4 questions outta 8, you MAY get the subjective portion done right, However, preparing for 4 out of 8 topics would give you a serious disadvantage in the objective portion.

I believe Amna Rafiq's advice is correct:
Go over the entire course in general. But focus MORE on the selective topics which are repeated every year, this way objective and subjective dono ko acha kar pao gay.

Default selective study

if you really are this lazy and want an easiest way out than i think you should cover at least 6/8 topics for paper A and paper2 will require a lil more effort. you have a choice to leave at maximum 2 topics.and which ever topic you leave in choice you will still have to go through it to learn definitions and to have a basic knowledge of that topic.
But one important thing is to be kept in mind, what ever topics you are covering , you should not leave any stone unturned about those topics.

hmm.. so it means we can enjoy the liberty of a selective study for this paper... (though iam planning to cover the entire syllabus).. but tell me as Amna said, most of our seniors advise us not to go for cramming in CSS..?? does Psychology prep needs cramming.. (Iam sorry if its a stupid question, but our professor used to say that no question is good or bad, untill its a question.. )
