i have attempted
Pakistan is rich in natural resources but very poor in their management

My outline was :

INTRODUCTION

NATURAL RESOURCES OF PAKISTAN

CAUSES OF POOR MANAGEMENT
1. Obsolete Technology
2. Inefficient Government
3. Lack of Accountability
4. Corruptions
5. Lack of evaluation process
6. Insufficient funds

SUGGESTION

1. Utilization of international forums
2. Import modern technology
4. Effective accountability and evaluation
4. Qualitative approach should be adopt
5. Long term planning

CONCLUSION

Remarks me please
Your outline seems good not very comprehensive but gives a gist of your writing. Your writing skill can make a difference while attempting paper so what I believe is that written matterial matters more then outline if its not very comprehensive like yours.

So if you have written analytically and relevantly you are at safer side.
i have attempted...

Can woman be equal to men in Pakistan?

I have written on these lines:

What is equality?
How is equality achieved?

Prevalent two different views about equality of women and men
1- Islamic View
2- Western View
Differences between the both.

Women's present plight in Pakistan
Causes for these conditions
What are the Government's recent steps towards equality of gender
Conclusion
Umar you have narrowed down the topic too much. Your outline is not the true indicator of your writing even its not very much descriptive to clarify the topic. I hope you have written well with authentic citation to go through the paper safely.

Keep one thing in mind Essay examiner tolerate if you have missed some of the dimension or description of the topic but can never tolerate if you have played with irrelavents.

Best of Luck for your result

Silent Volcano here I am adding my opinion that may not match to others and I hope you will take it positively.
MY OUTLINE WAS :

I. INTRODUCTION
1.what is equality?
2.women constitute 51.4 per cent of population?
I think your intro should constitute the prevailing situation of man and women disparity in Pakistan along with its future prospect.

Intro is always the mirror of your essay and examiner should get the idea what you are going to discuss in the ensuing paras. Its brevity and clarity determine that you are gonna crack the hard nut of essay or not. So as per my opinion your intro isnt well defined.
II. PAKISTAN AS AN ISLAMIC STATE

1. ideology based on islam

quote of quaid e azam"

" NO NATION CAN RISE TO THE HEIGHT OF GLORY UNLESS UR WOMEN ARE SIDE BY SIDE WITH YOU :

example of fatima jinnah being always together with Muhammad ali Jinnah

2. is the women equal to men in islam?

TWO-THREE ISLAMIC QUOTES
I think its highly magnified concept of your essay because it should given more than a para just to emphasize that Pakistan being the Muslim country follows Islamic teachings in all spheres of life especially to chain women into the home but when it comes to women rights we rarely follows them. Then you can discuss women education.
III.FACTORS BEHIND INEQUALITY OF WOMEN

1.customs and traditions
2.education backwardness
Relevant to the topic but have discussed so precisely.
IV.POTENTIALS OF WOMEN TO BE EQUAL TO MEN IN PAKISTAN

1. women on educational front(examples of women toppers, women engineers etc)
2. women on political front( examples of Benazir Bhutto, Dr. Fehmida mirza, shehla raza etc)
3. women on social front( example of Asma Jehangir )
4. women on other fronts (example of first women major general, women in media) etc.?
Relevant but not presented in the way that could touch the reader. I mean to say you have presented gold in earthern ware.
V.ARE CONTEMPORARY WOMEN EQUAL TO MEN IN PAKISTAN?
I dont know how you have discussed it because this very line isnt so descriptive.
VII.EFFORTS OF GOVERNMENT

.PRESIDENT PERVAIZ MUSHARRAF'S EFFORTS WERE REMARKABLE

VI.FUTURE OF WOMEN IN PAKISTAN

future of women is bright in pakistan regarding to their status
its reasons are:

1. Independent media
2. independent judiciary

i have quoted in the last:
constitution of pakistan includes an article which says :

"there will be no discrimination on the basis of gender"

so independent judiciary will also make efforts to give equality to women in Pakistan.

VII. Conclusion
Silent the essay has ended but I couldnt find the answer of Can I mean Can women be equal to men in Pakistan
No discussion over the topic point
No pros and cons of the topic
No justification to support your argument point.

I hope you will check it out once again.

Best of Luck for your CSS

i attempted this topic "Without independent truth-finding commission , accountability is unachievable"
my outline included almost the same points but historical reference in my essay was not in so detail.

sherry.j Saturday, March 13, 2010 11:51 PM

@ deadly

I dont know if your outline is good or bad, but it is more or less similar to what i wrote on this topic. At least I am satisfied now that someone has approached this side as I did. (For the last two days the idea that i might have lost the plot of my essay was haunting me, though :oo )

Austin Sunday, March 14, 2010 12:28 AM
