Well the Paper was abit easy.
I have got 9/10 in first question. 4 direct and indirect are right. 4 correction of sentences are right. 3 pair of words.i-e 6 marks. 2 idioms are right. so I guess i must have scored 22/35 in my first section. Beside this Expansion,Comprehension and precis were also good. what abt this "They forbade the driver to stop".

I think it changes the meaning of original sentence. The driver was forbidden from stopping not ordered to stop.

These are causative sentences made with the help of make, get and have. With make or its past made, to is not used. The sentences could have been They made the drive stop, if it was really asked in this sense to correct. To is used when the passive of sentence is made such as : the driver was made to stop by them. We, in grammatical sense, call this usage, usage of "to infinitive and bare infinitive".
But the demand of sentence was to use gerund instead of infinitive so, the correction is : They prevented the driver from stopping. |

There is no need to worry about. Mine was also the same and examiner demands from a candidate comprehension of the passage on which it is written. Everybody has his/her own title and justification for the same.

In order to correct oneself, no candidate is allowed to change the verb and sentence structure.) |

There is no need to worry about the paper. Allah will bestow u with success and good marks. One of my friend who is to finish his STP in Inland Revenue Service on 2nd of April was also worried about precise paper. He used to count his marks and it was always 35-36, but he secured 46. Best of Luck
