yeah! Mercury is the nearest planet to the Sun,while Venus is considered the nearest planet to the Earth on an average. In paper,the question was regarding the nearest planet to the sun.

Q5 (A) RAM random access memory also known as temporary memory or volatile memory or physical memory. The user can read as well as write in this type of memory. The data remains until unless computer remains in ON state.
forexample: runing of programs, copying of data etc
ROM read only memory also known as permanent memory or non volatile memory. The user can read but cannot write and the data remains even it is switched off.
