Refugee Crisis.
More than half of refugees are being hosted by just 10 countries. EU countries, which retrospectively gestured to welcome Syrian refugees, are now reluctant to host them due to growing number of Terrorist incidents coupled with domestic political upheavals. Different analytical approaches are being drawn. In his report "In Safety and Dignity" Former General Secretary of UN Ban-Ki Moon suggested some measures that can help the international community to address the increasingly gruesome challenge of refugees. He added that without honouring legal international obligations as per 1951 Refugee Convention we can't address this issues adequately. "We need to begin by recognising our common humanity" he writes in an article.
Some analytical approaches concluded that refugees, contrary to growing perception in the West, would actually be beneficial to the hosting countries in their economy.
_____ getting out of the box: How do you guys see Refugee Crisis. Should the West welcome them? Would it cost them their national security or it would be something constructive for them to host and welcome Syrian Refugees? Also, How do you foresee the future scenario of Syrian refugees?
