Well bro, to be realistic it is not we; the people of Pakistan; who have to decide this rather Musharraf and his fellows. The people of Pakistan are nothing but merely pupits. And Musharraf and his fellows have already made up their minds to "stick to their seats" for an indefinite period unless some unforseen events refrains them from doing so.

i suspect musharaf will be re-elected but, at the same time it makes me feel better that our nation has awakened..not this time but the day will come when we will be proud of our decmocratic norms....now people are more anxious, livid and disturbed due to political upheaval than ever before, thus by propelling their demand of political stability in pakistan..........be optimistic and pray to ALLAH for the DAy of our real INDEPENDENCE
and be sured about musharaf's re-election as "might is right"
he has power and is capable of doing anything with the USEFUL pieces of advice of his spoons (chamchas)
dear POOR democracy is far better than GOOD marshal law..........

The verdict given by the SC should be respected ,it is the same court which gave 20th july verdict in favour of the CJP,nawaz's plea to return and javed hashmi;s bail.Had the verdict given against the gen. musharraf , the situation in pakistan would have taken another road like imposition of martial law or emergency and that would have lead to a national havoc. We can endure the tyrannical rule of gen mush for 5 years rather than setting up our nation on fire.

Regards

well musharraf was told to our country peoples,he was resigned on 30 dec 2004 from the chief of army staff job but cannot resigned.
my question is that.
if our country leader is not spoke truth in last 5 years how he will be speaking truth in future?
what is your comments about the musharraf's politics.
he is better from prior govt or his govt is bad from priors.

pervaiz musharaff wants to b president of pakistan by using brutal force....
He has been president of pakistan for several years.Their is no need of his reelection. He, himself is sitting in president house and is afraid of coming in public for fear of criticism...Q League knows so well that they can win election only if musharaff is sitting on presidents, seat.so they are very much active for his campaign. Both pervaiz musharaff and q league are using brutal force against their opponents...
on the day of scrutiny of papers ,Islamabad was presenting a very bad scene.
lawyers were beaten mercilessly.same is the case with the political leaders and media.freedom of media was evident when the transmission of tv channels was blocked because they were telling facts to the people and they were beaten mercilessly. The prime ministers and the others were sitting in election commision office for their own security and they did not pay heed to what was going on outside.
A leader of MQM was reported to be injured by anonymous people and MQM who is in alliance with government blamed the lawyers .Though it is not sure whether he was beaten by lawyers or not......and they and the government is very much furious .why,Because ther are in government......what about the several injured lawyers and journalists who r not part of government....?Enen ch ehtazaz ehsan was beaten who is a very respectful lawyer....
so this is how dictator pervaiz musharaff wants to win the election......

Default Why Musharaf is ruling over Pakistan?

General Pervez Musharaf has only one son and he is settled in USA. If he is ruling for money than it is wrong, because as an ex-Chief of Army and ex-President he has too much privileges even a senior serving bureaucrats don’t have.

If he is ruling for the sake of protocol, prestige, I think it is also wrong because he is sleeping only three to five hours in 24 hours to run the affairs of the state if he quit the reign he could have a life free from tension. Al-Qaeda has also announced Jihad against him. Three attemps have been made to finish him.

I think,He is ruling for the great interest of Pakista.

Member please discuss that why Musharaf is ruling over Pakistan. What would be his interest?

General Pervez Musharaf will become again the President of Pakistan. This is decided by APDM. They resigned from the Assmblies and made the Selection of Musaraf easier. Because without opposition parties Musharaf has 100% chance of becoming again the President of Pakistan.
What do you think........

obviously general musharraf will be re elect because he has did the deal with ppp.
my question is that to you or to worthy members is that he is doing deal with ppp and every one is understood about the deal, why he can't do the full fair election without the deal?
