In my opinion presently our country is in dire need of strong popular democratic gov. After seeing the huge reception of Benazir one cannot deny the fact that she is the only popular leader we have at present in the country.

Benazir should become Prime Minister.

Firstly because she is an experienced politician( has become PM twice) and secondly if some new inexperienced person comes he wont be able to tackle current crisis which are getting worse day by day.

We are being ruled by criminals and murderers then y not Benazir atleast corruption charges against her havent been proved.

So yes to Benazir Bhutto

At night I was faced with the dillema of whether to got to work or not. When I woke up the next day the day. That decision was already made fo me. What a reality to wake up to!
Benazir at present is the only politician who doesnt need to rent-a-crowd just to show her popularity. One and a half million people showed up for her reception. If public demonstrations are a yardstick to judge the popularity of a leader than BB is definitely the ticket. She does have a strong support base, and considering the alternatives...What alternatives?!

The blasts or the sucidal attack on the life of a popular leader indicates that no one is secure in our country. My God!!! Are we butchers or the businessmen who deal in horrors or terrors. The scenes frm Karachi were devastating to the minds of average Pakistani. I think we are in a gr8er need of solidarity than ever b4. Tolerance is what is missing both in dealings and our attitudes.
Everyone among us wants to force the issue. We are not hearing or want to listen to others. Infact, everybody is saying and nobody is listening. So, there is noise, noise and noise. If we want to make something of the current mess/choas.... we should not only say what we want to say but also give ear or listen to what the other is saying. I mean through "dialogue" the issues should be settled not through voices.
The effort on the life of the popular leader and the killing of abt 150 people is a dead shame 4 all of us. I, personally, don't know how to condem this butchery. May Allah bless all those who are killed with rest and peace and bless all those who are injured with health.
Thanks

Benazir Bhutto's return to the chequered political scene of Pakistan is an event worth its own significance. At a time, when larger confrontations, vendattas and personal grudges of politicians infested the political areana of the country, the come-back of BB has something otherwise to suggest for the better future of Pakistan. The underlying issues facing the generality, such as, unbented poverty, lack of quality education, absence of health security, wavering economic progress and unabated growth of population, etc., warranted no focused attention of the serving political icons of the land.Given the gloomy picture of the country, the general masses felt a need for pleasant change in the current machinary of the govt and saw the realization of their dreams and hopes in Benazir Bhutto, who duely landed at Karachi, yesterday, along with slogan of "Roti, Kapra aur Makan".But the miscreants spread all over felt the return of Benazi amiss and replaced the sweat scene of reception with a maccabre show of massacres.Damn all of them.

the karachi tragedy is yet another example of the failure of musharraf's govt as not able to control the rising extremism. BB came home with a bang!!!how can she expect pakistanis following her when she had a blessed DEAL with COAS,thanx to america, with the help of it she is baptised from the corruption charges!! along with 'roti, kapra aur makan'(God she thinks she can revive the old days of her father by this slogan)she also has a pro-western version of democracy knowing the fact that anti-US and talibanisation are reising in this already downtrodden country!! and well she claims that she knew positively about the attempted assasination, then why the hell did she go late into the night with her so-called democracy caravan,,she could have used the helicopter which was provided to her in order to avoid any untoward incident!!
Well, what can we say?i only pray that this country nd its people could see real democracy!!nd real nd true, honest leadears!!!
Peace!!

salam
i think if BB knew that there will be a attack on here she should hv avoided the public rally.
she was an easy target.
what wisdom ......a convoy open to any kind of attack.
i think she is lucky to survive but at the cost of innocent pakistani people.
can she stay in pakistan i think her security is at risk, and if something happens to her there will be chaos in the country.
we need to think ,our country is very important much more than politics.
regards

Again i would say that our country is in dire need of strong and popular leadership, leadership which is courageous enough to see in the eyes of extremists and ready for head on collision with them.

Main reason behind these threats and attacks is to intimidate people and leaders. They want to see if these political leaders are strong enough or do they get scared and back off..................and leave country for these terrorists and extremists to conquer..........People came out they showed these extremists that they are in favour of democracy and gov of their choice.............And ppl knew that she has been threatened and is hot target for militants but still they came to show their support................

In my view if Benazir had stayed back by coming under pressure of these threats after giving her words to ppl of this country then she wud hav become blemish on definition of leadership........it wud hav been triumph for these terrorist groups...........

This is the time when we have show to these terrorists that we r not going to easily giveup our liberty and our land last but not the least we r not afraid of them..................

Diloon ka haal tau Allah janta hai...............per i pray that may Allah show our Leadership right path and bless them so that they can takecare of this country and save it...............

regards
