So What Is China Anyway?
So what is china anyway?
It is capitalistic, but it claims itself to be communist Even britain has more labour laws than china . And why the hell the americans fear it and call it a communist state?? As karl marx said .. there can never be a communist state without a socialist set up. |

Assalam Alaikum,
It's funny that u mention this sis, I was infact today was listening to the program that was talking about the similar issues. Let me highlight some of the material that I think is appropriate with the question that you brought. China is walking a fine line of communism and capitalism. In its socialist society with respect to the huge population, China had no choice but to loosen up to deliver more effectively to its growing population. If you analyze some of the European examples of socialist societies, is shows that capitalism is in fact more effective when it is mixed up with socialist point of views. America itself has social programs for its masses, that somewhat resembles the socialist ideals, but they are by in large are capitalist society, where the money stays with one who has brains. The highlight being in China's case that they are letting its masses do whatever, as long as they don't become political threat. So the message is clear that communism, and one party system will remain, but the masses can follow up with the rest of the world in their economical development. Examples of Fallun Gong and such sends a clear message, that anything that emerges as a challenge to the authority of Government will be effectively crushed. Thanks. |
