There is a book called "The 48 Laws of Power" by Robert Greene. According to him one law of power says "don't overburden yourself by doing something which others willingly can do for you." So, its prudent for us to let them do what they do the best. This way we save our soldiers and cost of war. Why overburden our Army and needlessly sacrifice our people when the American drone technology is available ? What do you think ?

lemme have my say .it is said "Two wrongs do not make a right"...what ur post is reflecting is that we are letting them do this out of our selfishness,how we can, just think, prevent them from doing the same,if they decided to choose think the same way and how we can know whether what they are doing is right n for our benifit?sometimes things look fine on thier face,while in truth they are not.some times short term benifits bring long term damages.the birth n use of Taliban like factors by our country looked just fine n was considered a precious asset.look what this misapprehenssion has brought!Others cannot,n should not be made to clean our mess or we should be ready to give them unfair advantages,or why protest when they tortured daughter of our nation, aafia?........
Regards

@KAWISH

You are right in your own theoretical context. But what is right theoretically might not be true politically.

I am way too impressed by Machiavelli's dictum that "Law Corrects Men, Force Corrects Beasts"

I also believe that its time to separate ethics from politics.

I have a firm belief in the righteousness and professionalism of Pakistan Army and its Intelligence networks as they do not take decisions in arbitrary manner. Anyway, thanks for sharing your opinion.

regards,
floydian
